SMBC Forumbattle Bracket: Round 1!

Post by mountainmage »

Alright folks, Ed and I agreed waiting until tomorrow to post the bracket was silly, since it only took us 5 minutes to make it. So, here are the pairings for ROUND ONE! If you're paired with a blank spot, that means you get an automatic bye, you lucky devils! If you're disappointed you don't get to make a comic for the first round, sorry, but that's the way the bracket crumbles! Feel free to direct all complaints to your pillow, I hear they're pretty sympathetic. Remember, the tourney doesn't officially start until Monday morning, so don't bother sending in your entries until then!

As for sending in your entries, if you're on the top half of the bracket you will send your submission to me via PM. If you're on the bottom half, you'll send them to Ed.

Wouldn't it make some sensicles for those of us not going to be here (when does this round end?) to get the bye? Mostly just when does this round end?

Not if it's random match-ups! The round starts on Monday and ends on Friday, but you can submit your battle anytime during that time.

On a completely not-at-all-coincidental note, the imagesize of the Bracket posted above is the maximum recommended size of your battles (800x1200)!

800 x 1200 is not good for me.

Then make it smaller, I guess. It's only the maximum size you can use.

Well, maximum widthwise. You can make it longer, but it's not recommended.

Oh precious precious irony. I love you almost as much as I love being sad and lonely, oppressing women, and eating food from the middle east.
I'm guessing we eat a lot of camel meat or something?

Yes, that's what I was referring to. I knew there was a width-ways restriction but the length one was new to me.

Because apparently it bears repeating:

Does that mean he secretly hates being sad and lonely, reveres women, and prefers food from elsewhere in the world?

No no. He mentioned that there was irony, when there was none, making his original statement ironic. And then the comment is about that.
