I fully agree. It's not a delicate snowflake that someone can ruin by getting their paws all over it. The form and beauty of the final product is only fully realised when enough people have enjoyed playing with it, like a threadbare soft toy that's still smilin' after 20 years.

Also, curse you Kimra for mentioning nazis and aliens -- I nearly went there, but can't now, or I'll seem unoriginal. I've got plans, though, and I'll get to my contribution later on today. I'd do it sooner, but I have one heck of a long day in front of me.

Ahhh I considered not putting in things, so as not to lead the idea, so I'm sorry that I did. If you want I'l throw a whole lot of other cliches out there, so eventually someone will cover one of them...

If it's Space Pirates you might just win coolest person ever award. Anything else? Meh, we'll see.
I shall go and see what you have written now.

Okay. That's pretty darn cool. Now what to do with it.... :?:

I'm trying to remember the name of the drilling machines that the molemen use to invade the Surface World, but I am suddenly unable to. Help, please?

In an episode of The Busy World or Richard Scary they called it a Mole Machine (The memories that come back sometimes), if there's another name for it though, I don't know it.

All I can find is 'Subterranean Drilling Device' which doesn't sound very useful.

There's Tunnel Boring Machines, which are similar, but don't have the pointy bit at the end (it's quarter to six in the morning, technical speak be dammed). Otherwise, I don't think these devices exist in real life.
