I just imagine you winking after saying that. Like it's a "if you know what I mean" sort of thing. Is this another fat joke?

Essentially, yes.

Since when is chemistry not a science?

Re: NaNoWriMo
25,054 words.
Not bad for my first try, though I'm sad I can't get winners prizes etc. Was looking forward to the worst story I had ever written being printed up. *sigh*
Best luck next time I say.
If anyone wants to die a slow painful death here is what I managed to write.
Now back to the forums I come.

Re: NaNoWriMo
I gave up. I actually wrote a short story yesterday that was 1061 words, in one hour, whereas I wrote 1019 words for NaNoWriMo in a month. Well, what can I say? I can't force myself to work, I guess. The short story that I wrote, I actually kind of like, so I'll let it simmer for a couple of days and take another look at it before posting it, but I definitely will.
Also Kimra, I'll admit to not even really skimming over your work, just looking at it for a couple of brief seconds, but for what little I looked at I'm going to guess that those 25,000 words have been padded slightly. Still, it's impressive, and I hope you win next year.

Re: NaNoWriMo
Not padded, more... I wrote the first thing that came into my head at any stage. I'm far too wordy and not very interesting most the time - this is reflected in my writing. Padding it would have taken time. Ick.

Old thread is Old, but what are you guys doing with your Nanowrimo novels?
Yeah, you know you want to talk about creativity. http://www.notebookinhand.com The interpretation of 'creativity' is up to you!

Re: NaNoWriMo
I gave my half a novel to a couple people and said 'it's crap, but whatever'. And I was right. Bow before my superior knowledge.

Re: NaNoWriMo
I wrote about 1000 words the whole time, so I've done basically nothing with it. Maybe I will finish it next year.

Re: NaNoWriMo
I imagine you could come up with some kick-arse scripts, that's why!

I indirectly wrote a script once. In that there was a several pieces of dialogue of it that was near-verbatim discussions/conversations between me and the writer.

Pret-ty tricky.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.
