Woah, it's four panels! That's like 4 really crappy updates all at once.

SMBC is officially searchable! A lot of people have been asking (for years) to have a search feature to find their favorite strips, and today they've got it!

I'm spending today slogging through infinite series, and ways to determine whether one is convergent or divergent. I'm assured it's quite useful.

More excitingly, I've decided to take next semester off to focus on the site, other creative works, and actually learning science, as opposed to learning to take tests. I've learned a lot in the last year, but it's been frustrating to have to repeatedly cut corners in favor of passing exams or completing homework. These things are probably fine for most students, especially younger ones, but I've found I learn better and faster when I work on my own time. Now that I have a bit of a foundation, this should be fairly easy.

Oh, and for those who are unaware, my other comic, Captain Excelsior (I write, Chris Jones draws), is hitting some climactic moments!

Happy December, geeks.

I just got done with Steve Wozniak's memoir, iWoz, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The writing style is incredibly informal, including interjections and incomplete sentences in a way I assume is meant to be evocative of Woz himself. It's always good to read first-hand sources on oft-biographied people, even if they tend to be long on boring details and short on information about scandalous or regrettable life episodes.

I'm now onto a biography of Walt Disney. So far it's interesting, even though I haven't gotten to his imperious adulthood yet.

I have plenty to say about JohnCon, but I haven't had a spare moment lately. We've got some cool stuff in the works for SMBC that'll be revealed in the next few weeks. Between that and the physics (finals in 2 weeks!), I haven't had time to do properly anything beyond the bare essentials.

How was everyone's Thanksgiving?
