Before you read any further, check out this awesome video from our awesome friends at Harcos Labs.
Today I turn 28. TWENTY EIGHT. I could talk a lot here about all the little stuff that's been great this year, but suffice it to say THANK YOU FOLKS SO DAMN MUCH. Thanks to your daily (or weekly or monthly!) visits, I have the time to do this comic the way it should be done on a regular schedule. Your visits have been a major source of funding for the video projects. Plus, more indirectly, the freedom I have has led to a number of new and exciting projects to be announced this year and in the years to follow.
I really can't thank everyone enough. It's been a great year so far, and I think it's going to be an amazing decade.
Speaking of which, I also wanted to say thanks to all the geeks out there who wished my a happy birthday. It's a bit astounding to me that a bunch of people I don't know take the time to send me well wishes. BUT, please, there is no need to send me emails :) I currently have about 7,000 unread messages in the box, and I don't have time to answer any more! If you really want to do something to make me smile on my birthday, please just tell your chattiest friend about the comic.
Seriously, guys, you've all made my existence pretty incredible. If you see me somewhere, high fives are on tap.
